@TheBNT This happened to me as well. But it originally said it saved - I was about to go to manage worlds and see my build - but when I pressed save one more time for good measure before exiting the game it said error. I assumed it was saved because the first one saved - but when I went back into the game after turning it off all of my townhouses that I spent 4 hours building were gone.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? For Rent, City Living, Get to Work, Horse Ranch, Growing Together, University, Highschool Years, Cottage Living, Seasons, Vampires, etc.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? After buying a rental property my game will no longer have it as an own residential property. When I go to buy my property back it says it is already owned. This has happened with several properties.
What do you expect to see? My owned rental properties in the owned business section
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

My owned residential rentals will disappear from my "owned business" section. When it suggests I buy a rental property it won't let me select the option, I have to use the phone/ When I go through the phone to repurchase my already purchased properties it says they are already owned. The game has been saved, I have no mods or cc.

When I click buy rental property while playing game it lets me choose a lot to build on and when I’m ready to rent I return back home and the rental property I just built is not showing up in game only when I go to manage worlds so I can’t rent it out unless I go to manage worlds and it only lets me rent out one apartment out of 3 on the lot whenever I try to rent out the other ones it tells me I can’t because it’s owned (by me) but I can’t access them or rent them out and the one I am able to rent out I never got paid for . Is this happening to anyone else ?

@indiad3 You mean the house is not showing up or do you just not have it as owned in the property panel ?

It’s not showing owned in the property panel so it’s not letting me fill vacancy and I also can’t add my own restaurant or anything  because it’s not showing up

I solved this problem by moving my sim out, then by going to manage worlds and selecting the lot. Then I clicked "sell rental lot" in the bottom right corner, went back to my sim and purchased the lot via business button.

I tried by phone, household manager and just creating a new family and move them right in... never works properly.

I made a 6 unit rental property and only one unit is showing in owned business tab, so I can’t rent other units out!
