For rent - stopped being landor and property owner

That's the only way I could get mine to work as well. I also had to make most of the lot shared to be able to have the landlord use anything in the home.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play as a Landlord in a rental property and add a tenant in.
What happens when the bug occurs? It does not show that I own the other unit on my rental property. In the manage properties menu, it will show that I am the property owner, but will not allow me to see the tenants of my second unit. In Build Mode, it will show that I have two units, however it will say that the upstairs unit is occupied and I cannot edit it. If I go to manage worlds, it shows that there are two units and that one is $-1. I click on the lot and it only lets me select my sim to play as- cannot play as the other unit to evict.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the other unit and be able to manage the property.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

something like this happend to me after my landlord married hi tenant and had her move in.  the lot is technicaly owned by him, but in live mode of the sim it shows that he doesn't own any rental lots. I will try the fix mentioned above. I did try something similar but didn't know I have to go delete some file.  damn if I knew I would make sure to save before the wedding separated save.

Does it solve ownership of the original house ?....I spend hours bulding my medieval puddin' lane  don't wanna lose it.

I migh have found solution, it'S possible to sell the house from edit world view

Well now I noticed it happens all the time. I can't save the game if I'm in a residential lot cause it says "error". If I visit one of lhe other apartments in the same residential lot, it will appear in the management tab that I dont own a property even if its mine... if i exit the game the same happens... I guess the pack just has some bugs that need to be fixed!

Did you guys have issues with high rents and/or trying to change lot types which got stuck ?

No I didn't, I only have the issue where residential rentals dissapear from the owned businesses menu.

I've seen the 4 mil rent bug, but have not experienced it myself yet.

@TheBNT What's the exact error you're getting ?

Does he still show as property owner when you click on the building and it's the property tab that's empty ? If you check from the map, can you sell it from there ?
