[FIXED] [FR] Constantly dirty surroundings moodlet from Pressure Cooker/Kettle

[ Edited ]
★★★★ Guide

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Batuu,Toddler, Bowling night, Kids room, Cool kitchen, Carnival kit, Modern menswear kit, Industrial loft, Fashion street kit, Bust the dust kit, Throwback fit kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place a new pressure cooker in the kitchen, use it or not.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Sims act like there has been a dirt bomb dropped in the kitchen, and have a bad environment moodlet and act like something stinks. I deleted my whole kitchen from the ground up, and rebuilt it, and it was still there. What do you know, as soon as I removed the pressure cooker, the air was clean again.Even though I have not used it once.
What do you expect to see? For the pressure cooker not to cause discomfort, especially if it has not been used at all, or cleaned.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. For Rent dlc

This is a strange one. I just want to note that this happened for me on a regular residential lot in Chestnut Ridge. Edit: I noticed the same thing happens with the kettle, in my case Silly Gooseneck one.

Filthy environment moodlet in 11C Sungai Point apartment

Hi, so, I just noticed: Every minute or so, my sims will get the "Filthy environment" moodlet when inside their 11C Sungai Point apartment (no matter which room).
The apartment is clean, the moodlet can only be removed by "polishing to perfection" the shower. The moodlet keeps returning though, my sims spend the better half of their day cleaning the already clean shower to stop being uncomfortable.

I usually play with mods, but I already tried playing without them and the problem still persists.
The problem is highly annoying bc my sims are constantly uncomfortable. They clean the shower, sit down in the chair and immediately get uncomfortable again.
I tried cleaning other appliances or furniture, but the moodlet only goes away if they clean the shower. Sadly not for long.

@RickonRavenclaw  Does the lot or rental have the Mold lot challenge or anything else that would explain the behavior?

@EeveeTinn Haven't seen this in my game at all. Was this with a vented or unvented cooker ?

@crinrict It is for sure a strange one, I have seen it in another Disc server I am in, but not found it here.

The cooker does not have any upgrades, nor did I use it. I placed it, and after few minutes all Sims could "smell" something although there was 100% nothing as I have a neat Sim. My neat Sim though was ofc very affected by the moodlet hahah. I rebuilt the whole kitchen (so also floors, walls) and set back the cooker, and it was still happening. I then had an idea to delete it, and the moodlet was gone right away.

@EeveeTinn Do other Sims have the same issue or just the neat one ?

@crinrict My non-neat Sims just react with waving their hand as if it stinks, sometimes with the stinky boot bubble around the area where the cooker was, but not directly in front of it. Hence I thought it was a fridge or a stuck item, but nothing of that was dirty/stuck.
For them the moodlet only appears if I have one other stinky plate or surface (+ cooker). Without the cooker, the moodlet is gone even if the stinky plate is there.

I have deleted the cooker and placed it a new one now, so far no moodlet or stink animations, so will keep testing as it is not 100% of the time it happens, it just pops up, even though I have not used it yet.

@EeveeTinn I just had this in my apartment too. I had just moved in and the stink moodlet came right away. Try to put the tea kettle in your household inventory in build mode and check if that helps. I did and it went away. Tried to buy a different kettle again and the stink moodlet came back. So maybe there's a bug going on with the tea kettles.

@oesileo interesting, which kettle? The fancy, tall looking one, or basic one? Because I have a fancy one and all was good. I am still testing everything out.
