We’ll be lucky if they patch the fix within 2 years.

Same for me. In one apartment it was tea kettle and pressure cooker ( from for rent pack) and in another apartment it was just the pressure cooker. "Neat" sims will get the filthy surrounding moodlet and everyone else will do the "wave hand in front of nose" animation. Note: these objects weren't even used yet. When I removed the items the moodlet was gone. I even tried upgrading to self clean but didn't help.

What's frustrating is, I was playing as the landlord and the tentant ended up revolting because I didn't "clean" lol. This was before I realized it was the stupid pressure cooker.

★★★ Pro

Please let this be fixed in the next patch. All the small appliances from For Rent are useless! This is such a disaster of an expansion pack.. Disappointed

Same thing for me. Pressure cooker made sims think there was something dirty in the room despite being clean. They were all waving their hands in front of their faces. I was going crazy trying to find a dish stuck in the wall or something.

Yes this happened to me as well. In same save, two different households. I have a neat sim and had them clean over and over. It's driving me batty.

@EeveeTinn Me too - I'm following on the off chance it ever gets fixed because it'd be fun to use. Delete pressure cooker and the problem of the 'dirty surroundings' goes away. I removed the mold on the lot. Everything else is clean. My neat Sim can get a temp fix if I have him do a cleaning frenzy but there's nothing for him to clean.

King Zace has a No Spoils mod, if you do not mind using mods. You might want to try that.

Recently started happening for my Sims and their pressure cooker. No issues with their kettle at the moment.

Hi! I'm SimmerStar4 (they/them). I'm not an expert on game issues, so don't take me as one! I'm just a Sims player who wants to try and help fellow players, and who finds game bugs and issues interesting.

It recently just started happening to me too I had already stopped using the pressure cooker and now I can't use either of the kettles from the for rent pack I hope they fix whatever issue is causing the problem because I liked using the kettles and as nice as they look in the kitchen they are next to useless if they can't be used and I don't want to use them as decorating items.

Grace Under Pressure Cooker causing Filthy Surroundings moodlet

★★★★★ Novice

The Grace Under Pressure Cooker is constantly causing my Sims to experience the Filthy Surroundings moodlet whenever they come into their kitchen. I'd completely deleted everything from their kitchen, did a completely new remodeling and replaced everything to brand new hoping to get rid of the moodlet, and it was back, even with everything being brand new. I started by taking out all the small appliances and returning them one by one to see which as the culprit, and it was the Pressure cooker. See pictures. As I'd said, I'd just finished the remodeling, so the new cooker hadn't even been used, and it was still giving off/creating the negative moodlet.
