Hero
@EeveeTinn the game. Like it's rated teen rn but if you talk about adult mods, then that will raise the rating to 18+ .. hence, not allowed

Good Luck

I experienced the same thing! I put the pressure cooker into my sims inventory to get rid of the smelly environment and she is a neat sim so she autonomously cleaned out the "dirty dishes" from her inventory which was in fact the pressure cooker itself.

This mod does indeed help with the bad environment but sims will still clean up the "dirty dishes" if its placed into their inventory unfortunately and that thing is 250 simoleons lol.

@crinrict This happens to my sims too. I tried it in multiple lots, upgraded, not upgraded, in a unit and in a residential lot and it is definitely the rice cooker in my game.

This is definitely a bug. Quoting from NateThe L0ser: Well, have I got an answer that will fill you with confusion and maybe rage: a select few of newer EA appliance tuning applies freshness tuning to the appliances themselves, which will decay over time even if your sims have never even used them!
There is a hotfix on his Patreon page, but EA should fix it

I'm seeing it, but only with tea kettles. I have sold and replaced them and changed the type of tea kettle. I had to remove everything from my kitchen, and slowly add things, to see what was causing the "filthy surroundings" uncomfortable moodlet.

Re: Sim has "Filthy Surroundings" moodlet, house spotless

I got this problem the first time after downloading the home chef husstle packet.

It happend in two different families with different kitchen gadgets.

This time I took everything out of the kitchen and put them back piece by piece.

this time it was the pressure cooke of the latest for rent package.

I deletet it and bought a new one. worked.

My sim also “cleans up” the kettle and pressure cooker as dirty dishes in her backpack. I out them in there because the kitchen is small. They were clean and are obviously not dishes so it didn’t occur to me that this would happen.

I started a new game and played in the same world of tomarang I'm living in a rental unit this time I didn't pick the neat trait and so far both the pressure cooker and kettle are not giving me a dirty surroundings moodlet. I think the neat trait is a issue seeing its bugged cause you can never fully clean an object the option to clean is always there.

This is a bug that has existed for a while. The tea sets from My Wedding Stories have this bug also and its so annoying being unable to serve tea to the guests because they all freak out about the supposed "filth"
