I just downloaded today's new update and now every time I select a household lot to play on it redirects me to the world view screen and says "The game failed to load. Error Code: 102:a0adadad34:b237a894. It is recommended that you relaunch the game." I click the "Ok" Button and it then says, "CANNOT SAVE. The game is currently in a state where saving isn't possible. Warning: Data may be lost if you exit. Do you want to exit anyway? It then gives me the option to hit an X for No or Check mark for Yes.
What is going on?

This was my issue as well. I had a single sim causing the issue. Thank you!!!!!

@tigerxxlily Are you playing with any mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so use Broken/Updated Mods to see what to remove or replace. If you still have issues after that, see what happens after you drag that folder to your desktop and delete localthumbcache. (Don't save, though! Or test in a new game.)

Hi @luthienrising I do not have mods or any CC with my game. What would you recommend I do next? I have already deleted the EA cache, made sure that was up-to-date and repaires my Sims game.

I'm getting the same issue, even without mods and having repaired my game and all the other steps everyone recommends taking. I noticed that, like Sezzie, my issues started after turning the rental back to a residential - it was like the game didn't fully convert it back to a residential and was bugged out over it. Then, when I clicked on the "sell" button in an attempt to fix those issues, I started getting the error code.
It seems like, for some reason, changing a lot to a residential rental then back to a regular residential is causing some serious issues.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I did also check to see if any households are duplicated and did not find any.

@BlueJay72619 It isn't as much as duplicated households but households that live in limbo.
Do you have any that have a blank where there should be a world listed in the household manager ?
See the pic here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Error-code-102-122-a0adad34/m-p/13304122#M263964

Just thought id mention, i was messing around, If you rename the apartment lots, the game does not seem to like it when creating new lots, did some renovations, added a unit and it deleted one of my units with a tenant, then i got this message. Anyway, that tenant went into limbo and the game did not like it, it was just one sim, i managed to move some sims into the corrupted household, and then split them up that way. So hope that helps
Also dont rename apartment lots, The game does not appreciate those shenannigans
EDIT: sent a PM with my files to crinrict.

Hi, i'm french and i have a similar problem.
Here my problem description in french :
"Bonjour,
Merci"
I've got a mac and i've already delated all my mods.
Thanks

So from what it looks like here, this issue is caused by a household in limbo (Not in any world, not even the "not in world" world). The hypothesis here is that they ain't leaving a multi family unit properly, and the game freaks out, and doesn't want to load lots. The problem household can be found in managed worlds, and has nothing to say what world they are in.
The best solution is to revert to an earlier save, but you might be able to get it to fix the household. It takes some finagling, and it doesnt want to be consistant, but i have attached a video on what i did in case yall want to see it.

Hi, sorry first timer to this forum and I'm not sure how to work it just yet so apologies if there's any weirdities.
So I got the same error code and after testing out some, I did get back into my household by visiting the lot but the game just turned strange..
So first I went into build mode in the lot which created a blue red flashing text field, when I went back out and tried visiting my own family I got back in but things kinda started breaking... my moodlets have been replaced by blue void and there's this random happy guy pretending to be my main xD
I am playing on a file completely without mods from day one
