@Timlemagicien Solutions will be different depending on the exact cause. First, you can find out if your cause is a mod. Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it, for which start at Broken/Updated Mods .

I tested @SilohSiloh save game and found that one of the households has duplicated with no world

I've seen this before in someone else save game and actually found the thread that has the same error code: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Error-code-122-a0adad34/td-p/10486104

So it seems this has been going on for a while (there's a few old threads). I do not know how those clones happen.

Has anyone in here NEVER used mods/cc or play on console ?

Different from the other thread, I'm unable to delete that household, so I don't know how to fix it. Every lot gives the same error code because of it.

Could everyone check their games if they have odd households like this ?

I took out all my mods and saved them in a folder, still doesn't work. I get the same error code. The mods don't seem to be the problem.

@Timlemagicien Did you check your household manager as asked above to check if you have a household that doesn't live anywhere (not even not in world)

If you can delete those, that's one option, otherwise you need to load a backup.

This is the only household I have. I haven't found duplicates in the ones who are not in the world .

None of my households seem to have doubled. There also seems to be more problems now like I can’t seem to create new units in properties it just defaults to the original unit. Seems to save ok when I go to manage worlds.

@GLizzie2020 It's not necessarily doubled as I found out with Timlemagicien save. For them, it was simply a household that seemed to live in limbo

Go through your households/other households and check if you have ANY household that doesn't have a world (not even not in world)

The only option currently is to revert to an earlier save.

Thanks! I reverted to an earlier save yesterday and it worked for a while and then stopped again.
