NAP eco friendly appliances bug

[ Edited ]
★★★ Novice

Despite having all my appliances upgraded to energy efficient, the inspector still says I’m not in compliance with the N.A.P. Eco friendly appliances. What is going on? I’ve never that this issue before. It started with the latest update to the game, not the sims delivery updates, the normal updates. I play on console.

I'm having the same issue. I'm on PC. I don't have mods or CC in my game. Every item that can have the energy efficient or water recycle upgrade has them.
I am still getting the message that I'm not in compliance and receiving a fine.

I just started playing again. and as of today the inspector just walked in and said I am not in compliance. I had the action plan passed because I have upgraded everything in my small 1 sim house.  I am in compliance but being fined.

I found that if I did the H20 siphoner and fuel cell upgrades on everything as well as the energy efficient upgrades. plus a bug box on the lot. I was no longer getting NAP fines.

hope that works for you.

Re: N.A.P. Still Giving Fines Despite Upgraded Appliances

What are all the things that need to be upgraded to avoid fines? I have upgraded the stove and fridge and I don't have a computer. The weird thing is that when I hover over the fridge I see a title that says Eco, but not with the stove. However if I click upgrade on the stove there is a check mark beside the eco upgrade.

I've also been fined for not doing "green gardening" even when my sims have MANY plants, all of which are outside, and totally accessible to the inspector. Not sure what the threshold is for having "enough" plants but I'd assume having more than 8-10 should be plenty.
