same problem here.. Especially the clay littering on public lots or just open environment is bad. There are clay blobs everywhere on the streets, in front of benches etc.
I normally just chuck them into the recycler or sell them.

Wow, That is a lot of clay! I installed a fresh new version of the game to get rid of all this stuff. All my families were obsessed one way or the other with all the items produced by the NAPs. Because the globs of clay seem to be related to the Support The Performing Arts NAP, I thought that perhaps if you give them an easel or a microphone or something related to the performing arts, they would stop spawning clay globs as a replacement but, alas, that didn't work. I tried disabling the NAPs in game settings and that doesn't seem to fix the problem either. I would love to reinstall the pack but I will wait until they fix it. And they should realize that it needs fixed badly.

I haven't been switching between households but it isn't just One future cube showing up in my sim's inventory, but often as many as 20+ if I haven't looked in a few minutes... Resale value is kinda a funny bonus since I'm not playing this household with any sort of hardship, but having to keep check the inventory every few minutes to avoid weird moodlets is frustrating.

I did the same thing. Played a household in each neighborhood so I could have all three of the community lots. I'm really loving this EP, but yeah, the glitches are killer. Rags to riches, it's tempting to sell all the clay, but my girl has been recycling it. Think that's cheating? It seemed to me the best thing to do with it all. I recycle the trash too. Pick it up anywhere I can find it, but after I've searched it for parts that is. I recycle everything.
Yes, so annoying to stack up stuff to do only to find your sim playing with the clay!

Before I fixed the issue I was throwing the clay in the recycler just to get rid of it.

I have the same problem with future cubes, molding clay, tablets, violins, guitars etc.
Even in a new games, the sim will ignore commands in order to play with clay.
The Sim had no violin or guitar skill, no violin or guitar in it's inventory, but eill stop everything, ignore everything and play either of them perfectly.
Left to it's own accord, the sim will vrry quickly amass 100 or more lumps of clay.
It ignores me to use a tablet (agaon, the sim does not own one)
This happens with multuple sims in all worlds, at home or away. It's made the game almost impossible and very stressful to play.
I use the PS4 version withh all expansions. This started after the update to 1.25.
The Sims 4 seems to be very broken.

Yep. Playing on PC with all the expansions/packs, and the game is virtually unplayable at present, particularly with large families. Sims stop in the middle of eating, for example, and stand up; sometimes they don't even use the object, just stand there. I always know that's when to check their inventory, and sure enough a Future Cube or lump of clay has appeared, and then I have to sell it and direct them to finish their meal.
It's been a great source of random extra income, but otherwise it's completely destroying my motivation to play the game. Especially playing with large families, the ability to queue up actions and have the sims ACTUALLY DO THOSE ACTIONS IN THE ORDER QUEUED is vital, and while that reliability been slowly decaying as time goes on, it's now completely defunct.
