[FIXED] [ECO] Americana Speakers not playing music [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.134.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all EPs, GPs, and SPs installed.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place the Americana speaker that came with Eco Lifestyle (titled "residential wall speaker" but with new design) on the community lot.
What happens when the bug occurs? The speakers play a music animation, but no music can be heard. There are two swatches for the "residential wall speaker" that came with Eco Lifestyle, one with an americana theme, and the other has a neutral wood swatch, but the neutral wood swatch doesn't change the speaker appearance. No matter which swatch is chosen, it is the red striped speaker box with blue speaker cover. This is not the same item as the base game "residential wall speaker" and seemingly should be named Venue Wall Speaker: Americana, as the station can't be changed and the volume can't be modified.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to hear music from the "Americana" station, and for the swatches to impact speaker appearance.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

All of the other venue speakers and residential speakers work, so it's not an issue of my volume settings or headphones or mods. The issue is only present with the Americana speakers. As you can see, I have the Seasons speaker installed as well, and can verify other venue speakers all work correctly - so it doesn't seem to be an issue of venue type (community space).

Update: still not working. Also noticed with other speakers at other venues; however with other speakers it isn't as reliably recreated.

It's now 5 months later and there is still no fix. I'm having the same issue and I purchased the pack just a few days ago.
