Sims won't do dishes [ Edited ]

I haven't seen any on shelves.  They like to place them on the coffee table, tv stand and the aforementioned spots on the table.  The ones left on the tv stand are always cleaned though which is why I didn't mention them.  

Just the two areas that I mentioned appear to be an problem.

The current house I'm playing is called Chateau de Cameron and is in my gallery if you want to test to see if it happens for you (again, I'm on Xbox One so it may not be a problem on other platforms.)

Also, it's worth noting that moving those dishes to other spots seems to always allow them to be cleaned.

@PenguinFoop Checking your home, I'm not sure if you're issue is potentially different from this thread.

Question: Can you not clean those spaces at all or are they just not included in the general clean up process ?

Meaning: Do they clean the dishes if you tell them to clean that specific one or just pick it up and put back down ?

Yes they can clean them if I tell them to directly.  But also when I click the dishwasher and the plates are in those particular spots, the option to "load dishwasher" is greyed out and a pop-up says there are no dishes to clean or something like that.

Yes I agree.  Interestingly too, I did two things and one of them seems to have worked.  I upgraded to the deluxe version and I placed a sculpture in the middle of the table.  As soon as I placed that sculpture, the butler went over to the table and took a plate from one of the center places at the table.  Not sure if that has solved the issue or not but the family is sitting down to eat now so I'll post in the other thread if the dishes get cleaned...

Okay so adding the sculpture in the center of the table didn't work.  The butler cleaned one dish one time but after that it's back to the same.

So, I got the same problem. Sims only clean dishes one by one, which is nuts.

Also they place dishes on shelves and even if they were clean they begin to stink after some time. Weird.

Anyway, is this bug report just for crying about bugs with other player or will EA read this and do something about it or reply???
