[CoL] Hatchable eggs disappearing/spoiling

Also happening to me, and I've never used mods. Save files in my google drive available! 6-4-22 @ 7:28pm is the manual save I did after I noticed my eggs had disappeared. My sim had cleaned the coop maybe 2 sim hours before that after having two hatchable eggs in the coop.

I have also experienced this bug. I put a hatchable egg inside the coop to hatch. The next day, I noticed my sim throwing the egg away. Initially, I thought that I might have accidentally placed a non-hatchable egg in the coop until I noticed that the other two hatchable eggs in her inventory was spoiled. Hatchable eggs have never spoiled before, why is this now a thing. This is very annoying!

This is happening to me as well. Regular eggs seem to hatch some of the time, but my hatchable golden eggs just spoil and don't have a count down timer anymore.

I was thinking the foxes were stealing my eggs and I couldn't see them...but its actually a bug.

I noticed the hatchable eggs just disappear when I put them to incubate...

I'm on the Xbox series S and i can  confirm it's happening to me too at first I thought a fox had stolen the eggs or they were just disappearing then I noticed when I hovered over one of the hatchable eggs but it was spoiled I hit the clean Coupe option and The Sims automatically clean the spoiled eggs out of the inventory of the coop

I finally figured this out!

After losing over 20 hatchable eggs I finally deleted my coop and placed a new one.

I was having a hard time placing the new coop in the same spot so I moved things around and placed it elsewhere. Just hatched my first chick!

I may have I may have also found a workaround for the egg spoiling problem if you have a spellcaster and have the Spells repario and copypisto you can repair the egg and then copy it and then place the copied egg into the coop it will revert from a spoiled egg back to viable with the countdown of the original egg.

My hatchable eggs are spoiling. I click them in my inventory and select incubate in coop. My sim puts them in the coop and I Can see them. Then they start their count down to hatch but before they hatch, they are spoiled. All I can do at that point is throw them away. It's almost like they are regular eggs that are not refrigerated. I know for a fact when the game 1st released I was able to hatch eggs just fine, so it is definitely related to a newer update. I don't use mods so it is not mod related.

I've been building a save file lately so I've not been actively playing so I don't know when this started exactly for me but I just tried playing with the chickens again and I had a spoiled hatchable egg. Figured that there has to be some kind of bug somewhere going on.
