Child 'Whiz Kid' aspiration will not level up when requirements met

Hi folks,

I have a child sim and their aspiration is 'Whiz Kid', at the 'Whiz Kid' stage. To complete this aspiration, the child sim needs to craft 3 emotional potions, achieve level 10 mental skill, and have an A grade at school.

My sim fulfills all of these requirements, yet the game is adamant that he is not an A grade pupil. All homework is done, the sim goes to school focused, and the 'promotion' bar is maxed out with a tick, and has been for quite some time. But the game is sure that he does not have an A grade, and so I cannot continue with the aspiration.

Figured this may be a bug, so thought i'd post it here.

Thank you for your time.

@ScottJT2 Merged with existing thread.

Did your kid have an A before you got to the aspiration ?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, the sim did have an A beforehand.

  • Child Sims who are already “A”student’s will no longer be required to slack off at school in order to successfully satisfy the Achieve a Grade of "A" at School aspiration goal.
