Child sim can't go upstairs after ageing up from toddler

I've had this problem repeatedly too even when I'm not using mods. Sometimes if I save the game and close it and then come back the glitch is fixed.

I have the same problem. The way I solved it was quitting the game and going back in, this fixed the issue. But you will have to do this for every toddler you age up.

It's not the toddlers that can't use the stairs, it's the children

My toddler got to movement level 5 and when it aged up it still can't get up the stairs (

Three workarounds.

1. Travel to another lot and back.

2. Go into CAS and back to normal.

3. Save and exit then reload the game.

the child can now use stairs.

There's another that worked for me. I use the testingcheats on cheat to get the 'teleport here' option (when you shift click for anyone not familiar with the cheat). Using that I teleport them upstairs and everything tends to work fine for some reason. There seems to be a thing with stairs recently, vampires with vampire run sometimes go diagonal floating down instead of using stairs, and all my aged up toddlers I have had to cheat to get climbing stairs again. Even so though, neither have permanent damage so I suppose it could be worse.
