I am having this issue as well with the detective career.

I've taken out all my mods out of the folder, disabled them and deleted the file localthumbcache.package and repaired the game but my daily tasks still aren't showing up and I get bad performance reviews. how do i fix this?
Just ignore them.

Re: get to work careers daily task not showing up
Careers will no longer have a blank daily task menu.
Fixed in Patch 1.107.112/1.92
