[OPEN] [CL] Social events with empty goals with key holders

Do you still see social events with empty goals ?

I was, BUT I just noticed that I hadn't run this week's update. I'll install and see if it happens again.I'll reply back here either way so that you know if it's fixed for me.

Yup, friend hangout just came up. No goals. Just updated Origin and TS4, then re-opened game. Any suggestions?

I always just thought those key holder random events with no goals were just there by design, I've had this issue ever since I got CL but it hasn't really been much of an issue apart from the fact they constantly keep grabbing water and they pop up in the most random times and even when i'm not even home, but I do spend my time while they're there to interact and socialise should I feel the need to.

I would like to add that I have been having this issue, along with another problem related to social events recently.  I have haven been experiencing the exact same problem as the OP mentioned along with a problem with the social event at the karaoke bar.  It asks the player to sing at the bar for an hour, but no matter how much you sing, it never progresses the event.  I noticed these problems before I put any mods on my game, so I know it isn't a mod conflict.

Actually just encountered the problem again today. Hadn't played in the city for a while, so it hadn't had the chance to show up. Just had a friend with a key drop in and start a social event with no goals, just the countdown.

So, in spite of the (stupid) game save naming protocols of Sims 4, I've identified the right file and have it here.

The save point is actually in the middle of the event.

The same game also just glitched on whims. Both Sims had the whim to get engaged. After the proposal neither had the whim fulfilled. So I don't know if these are individual issues or if the file is corrupt in some way. Let me know if you have any input.
