Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Visit the Romance Festival.
What happens when the bug occurs? Most festival plants don't grow in their planters, but on the streets and places.
What do you expect to see? Plants in planters.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

Cleared out some pesky extra plants floating around the Romance Festival.

I noticed the same thing at the romance festival. My Sim also had routing issues at the spice festival trying to reach the plants there, kept complaining about a table in the way.

Yup same to. I have no CC or mods and even happens in a fresh new game!

I noticed this as well. A few still in the planters, and the rest scattered all over the area.

The plants at the Spice Festival weren't as wild, but there were some pots that had two different plants in them. 

I was able to harvest both of the combined plants if they were differently shaped

Me too!  No CC or Mods.  I noticed this after the Nov.13th update, but I think it was before Get Famous was released.  Went back to the Romance Festival today and saw the same thing.  What gets me is that some of the dirt piles (from plants that aren't in season) are floating! :eahigh_file:  You can see this in the 1st and 3rd pictures. (I love how it appears as if one of them is around Vanessa Jeong's ankle!  )

Yeah, I caught that on another trip over to that festival myself. Also, one dragonfruit plant decided to spawn on top of the flowers rug thing -- totally couldn't route to that plant for the harvest. This last patch truly brought out the magical properties of those plants. LOL
