Island Living Shower Glitched

★ Guide

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Latest version
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place the Island Living shower and use it. It occurs all the time, even if you delete it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Shower sound plays non stop in the spot it was placed. Even deleting the shower doesn't fix it. The sound is in that spot forever, even if you delete the lot and place something else.
What do you expect to see? No more sound glitch.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

So the new Island Living DLC came out (highly lackluster and boring AF).

But the shower is glitched.

When in game the shower sound loops forever.

Even if you delete the shower.

That spot it was in has the sound playing non stop.

There is no fix in game.

Even changing the lot or moving out will not fix it. The sound is there forever.

Its on any lot in any world where the Island Living shower is in.

@John_Zonbi Merged your post with existing thread on the issue

Does it also sound for you if the shower wasn't broken ?

Re: Water Running Sound Loop

★★★ Newbie

I'm on Xbox one and have the issue. No mods obviously because of being on Xbox. I have most of the packs.

Re: [OPEN] Broken shower sound stays after fixing or deleting it

I have now had this twice with the new wooden shower from Island Living. Even bulldozing the lot doesn’t get rid of the noise. I have had to have my sims move out of two houses because of this now! But I’ve learnt my lesson: never again will I use that Island Living shower.

★★ Guide

My suggestion is to use the outdoor shower from Outdoor Retreat until this one gets fixed. The OR Outdoor Shower goes with Island Living. The Island Living Outdoor Shower will be fixed. It's just a matter of time.

I'm using the IL shower too and had the same bug. Repairing the game and using the shower from outdoor retreat helps.

Same here. Sound stay even when shower is already repaired or replaced with a new one. Occur only with the new wooden shower, only restart game fixes it, super annoying

I noticed that it only happens with the island living one. I just replaced the shower and it hasn't happened again.
