[OPEN] [BDK] No Dust Appearing on Residential Lots

Exactly the same issue for me, I actually bought the kit together with HSY to have the teen do more household chores but unfortunately it's unusable and I've never seen dust in my game AT ALL.

Very unfortunate, I hope someone can look into this...

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I own all DLC
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Bought BUST THE DUST Deleted all mods Checked {Enable dust system} in game option
What happens when the bug occurs? No dust Keeps the floor clean
What do you expect to see? Dust accumulates and dust bunnies exist
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Yep, I've noticed this as well now. I thought maybe it was because I was living in a micro home and really didn't have any available room to dust but now that my sim has expanded the house, it's been over 2 in game weeks and no dust.

Same issue here - another pack not working (dream home.. stopped showing gigs) after an update. I can vacuum but what for since no dust is gathering despite the place being filthy?.. Can we get someone to look into this??

Yup, been having this problem too, no mods.

I have this problem too... No dust. This makes Bust The Dust kit useless....

Since expansion pack Sims 4 High School Years:

Bust the dust Kid stopped working!

There is no dust.

Played with and no mods. Also, created a brand new game.

Same problem, no dust.

- The rooms still display the sprinkling stars.

- The sims still remark the clean house smell.

All houses played in them have this bug, some have dust but the dust can't be cleaned, and some will never get dusty.

But there's a specific one with both problems happening: Slot_0000000b.save

Exactly the same. Before HSY, the dust worked and ever since it doesn't. I checked the settings, I've turned them on and off, no change. I've played with and without mods, and I've replayed the troublemaker and aliens stole my parents scenarios both mod free on new saves several times. No dust accumulation at all, the floors are always sparkling, and sims are constantly getting moodlets from clean floors.

HSY is so buggy tbh, I am having this same issue with no mods in game. When I loaded up my save, they got that buff for clean floors, then it went away after time and there is no dust buildup but no more buffs. I am so confused. xD
