@iamsweetmysteryThey fixed this yesterday actually. You will need to turn the setting off  then back on for it to work, sorry.

I did that. According to Reddit, the dust has been slowed down to about 3 in-game days before it starts to appear. It's only been a day since the reset, so I guess I'll see if anything has changed after some time has passed.

Looks like it's working. Just got my first dust bunny. Named it sprinkles because the colourful bits look like cake sprinkles.
