[OPEN] Active Sims interrupt current interaction to do something else

This happens for me too when i try to get my sims to do a daily work task or university homework, presentation board, term paper.  I have to keep putting them back to doing it multiple times.  They are fully green on needs but still go do something fun instead.  Doesnt happen everytime but often enough to make it really frustrating.

This is happening to me too! It just started recently but I haven’t downloaded anything new recently. Is there something that I can do to fix this?

I have autonomous gameplay turned off. But the last few times of me playing the game my sims are acting like its turned on. (Playing with clay, going on the computer etc.) when I haven't even told them to. As well as this, the clay randomly ends up in my sims inventory and when I sell it, it miraculously comes back?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After playing at university you go to ‘nornal’ house and then it starts
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims stops my selected action and stars playing violin (doesn’t own one) or doing push-ups or looking into mirror (starts acting skill). He/she does this with every action I make her do even though auto is off.
What do you expect to see? Sims should not stop my selected action and randomly do stuff.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. I had it once before (and like now) afther my sims went to university she started to do this.

What happens when the bug occurs? I can't keep my sim on any task ( cooking, writing,gaming ect.) With out her stopping after a few seconds to either stretch or do push ups. She is not an active sim. The Active Neighborhood Plan is also not in effect. She will also auto make white cakes if I do not keep an eye on her. NPCs also do this. No cooking Neighborhood Action plans are in effect either.
What do you expect to see? Sims to complete tasks without stopping to exercise or autonomously make cakes.

What happens when the bug occurs? They stop doing the action you queue for them and start doing random activities - practicing writing, dancing, making drinks, etc etc
What do you expect to see? The sims doing and finishing the action I tell them to do and then be idle, as I have autonomy disabled

Hi all,

I am adding to this thread as I have the bug as well - I tried everything you mentioned here already, disabling NPC nap voting, removing all active nap in my neighborhood, toggling autonomy on and off, but they still keep doing random actions and then have their needs suffer. In their inventories clay and future cubes keep spawning randomly. I currently only have this issue in one household in a city with multiple families controlled by me. This household is unplayable currently.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Any primary (oldest) female sim in the household with a job or university tasks
What happens when the bug occurs? None of their tasks complete—including tasks not related to career/school. It only happens with one female sim in the household.
What do you expect to see? Tasks to continue until they’re are finished or stopped by the player.

@Meltildous What do you mean by not completing tasks ? You don't get checkmarks on tasks you need to do for career/aspiration etc or does she interrupt what she's doing to do something else ?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Perhaps disabling the autonomy in your game settings.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims do what they want. I get her to do something and it cancels after a few moments to play computer games and/or exercise despite no autonomy being selected. example: my sim is at the easel but she decides to exercise and play on the laptop instead.
What do you expect to see? Sim keeping to the actions i give her. example: Staying on the easel to complete her painting.

Lately I have noticed that my sim will not stick to what i tell her to do.

I could task her to paint and she'll cancel it, stretch or do press ups then go on the laptop/computer. I have the no autonomy as i turned it off, and disable autonomy for selected sim is ticked also. I have changed the NAPS to other ones in game but its still the same. 

I can not play my game without my sims constantly exercising and playing computer games or just canceling what they are about to do before they do it.

She interrupts to do a different task that wasn’t in her queue.
