[ Edited ]
★★ Novice

My sim and his employees can't clean the display objects such as podium or bakery displays. But he can restock them well. I ask him to clean and he gets close then acts like he can't reach it, but If I go into build mode and move the object, it can be move then and sometimes i can clean it but for momment i cant clean it back, Frown

Clear paths are obstructed to sim

[ Edited ]
★ Apprentice

Recently I've opened a store with lots of shelves and products, and a lot of customers have been coming by. These customers often get my store filthy during the day, and when I try to clean it, even though the path to the shelves is clear, my sim doesn't seem to be able to reach it anyways. Even tho, on the previous day, he was able to clean up the shelf.

Hi @removerboy

merged your post with existing thread.

They can do it autonomously but not if you direct them.

Re: [OPEN] Can't clean the display objects on retail shop

★ Guide

I can clean the displays when the store is closed but not when the store is open. Perhaps because of the customers interacting with the stuff on top of the display?

Interesting. Could very well be some kind of conflict.

Thanks for posting.

I found that my sim can't clean at either times. Not while open nor while closed

Get to work, bakery display issue.

Hi, I'm Korean user.

I bought 'Get to Work' expansion pack last month, and have been playing it.

I found a bug about bakery refrigerator display. (I have no idea how can i call that stuff, because it written in Korean.)

the problem i have is,

when the display turns dirty, my sim try to clean but can't get to it.

I have to move some plates in that display(=especially bottom layer) to another side.. then, my sim can clean it.

It really bothers me, I hope you guys know this error, and find a good way to resolve this problem.

I don't use custom mods or item.

I only have sims4, get to work, and get together.

The same thing happens to me. At my sims' florist, the shop owner cannot clean any of the display shelves that have items already placed on them. They can, however, clean dining tables with items. This started around the time of Dine Out... maybe earlier.
