What happens when the bug occurs? The game no longer launches when enabling DirectX 12 from the game platform launch options if you have an old Intel CPU... It just shows the easy anti-cheat loading screen and the file "r5apex_dx12.exe" shows in Task Manager for a few seconds and then disappears.
What should be happening instead? The game should launch normally in DirectX 12 mode.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the game in DirectX 12 using an old Intel CPU (e.g. i7-3770). Wait for the easy anti-cheat loading screen and the file "r5apex_dx12.exe" will show in Task Manager for a few seconds then it will disappear.
I know at least four people from reddit who are using old Intel CPUs (i7-2700, i7-3930k, i5-3470s and i5-2500k) and I'm using i7-3770 and all five of us can't launch the game anymore in DirectX 12 since the new Harbingers Collection Event update with the exact same result.
