OMG I am having the same exact problem. The first symptom I noticed is that apartments in San MyShuno started showing $0 as being furnished. No Sim died on the lots, no sim moved and took the furnishings because I’m controlling all of them and I disabled moves without me moving them.
Second symptom tried moving my Sim family and they got stuck in a time loop, literally when I closed and reopened the save it would start back Sunday at 1:06PM. Even when I played over a full sim week. I did A LOT of trouble shooting the same tired game repair, delete cache, I eventually renamed the folder OLD and repaired the game to generate new files, put the save back in (no mods) same time loop.
Third, I found a backup file of the save from last week and the time issue was fixed but the furnishing issue was the same. Then came the grand finale, sent my sim to visit her boyfriend and even though I completely renovated Oasis Springs, it only showed the default EA base game and empty lots in live view. I could see the lot when my sim was in it, I could see it from the households who lived in it and on map view but NOT live view.
There’s literally nothing new I'm doing to my game i haven’t done since I started back playing last year but since this update it’s one issue after the next. I am assuming that save is corrupted, how? I have no idea. And of course there is no way to rebuild relationships as I had three generations in three different families across multiple homes. I’m so upset.
