Found the solution.

Windows wasn't allocating ram correctly. fml this is embarrassing.

This is what I did:

- open file explorer

- right click this PC

- click properties

- advanced system settings

- click 'settings' under performance

- advanced tab

- Virtual Memory (change)

- untick automatically manage file size (set custom)

- min size 4096 max size 12800

- click set

- restart computer

This has reduced the frequency of the DXGI crash but it still remains. It is considerably less however.

Cool, could you provide some steps so users who see this are able to replicate the solution please Standard smile

It finally happened.

After getting two DXGI crashes i restarted my comp and continued to play, however there wasn't a crash until after several games that i got to play. This crash was not DXGI but instead an actual crash apex recognised, and finally after well over 20 odd crashes it generated a txt file.

glorius day

Okay jump into your Nvidia control panel and go to 3D settings - Global Settings.

Scroll down to DSR factors and choose 2.25 and apply.

Then go to change resolution and select the Dynamic Super Resolution like this:

Apply the resolution.

Now once this applies the text may look off so you can just press the Win key and type calibration and press enter.

Skip to the part about text and change it how you see fit.

Then try the game out, sometimes RTX cards have performance issues at lower resolutions.

Ahh okay after reviewing your system hardware i have found something.

Your PSU has only one 8pin /2x4pin connector and your motherboard needs to have all the ports filled:

One 8 pin connector can draw a max of 150w your cpu is rated at 180w.

Now we can do a test by disabling half of your cores then run the game again and see if that fixes the issue.

If so then your PSU does not have enough connectors to power your cpu which then causes instability and then the issue you keep getting consistently.

So lets start by pressing the Win key and type Msconfig, open up system configuration and click the boot tab.

Click advanced options and tick number of processors, then in the drop box select half the amount of cores.

Click ok and tick the make all boot setting permanent and apply.

Restart the PC and try playing the game now.
