Maybe the curtains are being blocked by something in the way. Try moving or flipping the windows and then placing the curtains and then see how they snap. Preferably, you can try this on an empty space but walls and a window. If you get a yellow-green highlight below the curtain, then you are successful in placing the curtain on the window.

I know of a minor issue where curtains may face the wrong way when being placed onto a window. I am not sure if it is being tracked here, but a workaround to that issue is to flip the window, place the curtain on the window (facing the wrong way), and then flip the window again (such that the curtain faces the right way).

What kinds of windows and curtains are you using?

Perhaps you can also press the F5 key to try fine grid placement. Hit F5 to return back to coarse grid placement. You can even hold down the Alt key (on Windows) to enable very fine placement, and then see if the curtain snaps onto the window or not.

I see, it's this issue here that I was referring to when I was talking about curtains facing the wrong way.

@prettyblah Have had that happen to me with some windows. The curtains are a bit buggy sometimes.

Used a workaround of moving windows out of the way, then placing curtains where they should be, and then placing windows back.

Yes, I do this now, but never had to before. I don't know what's changed.

Thank you.

It doesn't matter which window or curtain is used it's been happening w/ all of them. it's always on opposite walls that it messes up. It will work fine on the west walls, but not on the north walls or the east walls. It's random, and just started doing it.
