Crypto's drone has a bug that makes it useless in arena

What happens when the bug occurs? When you use Crypto's bug it is briefly marked as 'destroyed' before being usable as normal. While this doesnt affect gameplay in BR, in Arena it uses an extra use of drone meaning that you're burning through drone uses. So if you started with 3 drones and throw out your first, your drone uses go from 3 to 1. This makes the ability near worthless in arena. If you recall your drone it also does not display the correct number of drones you should have.
What should be happening instead? Crypto's drone should not be marked as 'destroyed' when used.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into arena, buy 3 uses of Crypto's drone and use it, keep an eye on the number of drones you're allowed in the bottom left.

Just to clarify it becomes 1 permanently, so everytime you summon a drone, one of the ones in reserve is destroyed.

I presume this is due to a bug where as soon as you throw your drone out it either quickly says 'recharging' (which is what it says when a drone is destroyed) meaning that your drone is quickly marked as destroyed, removing one of the ones in reserve thinking that it was destroyed.

Absolutely, its wild that Crypto is so underused that a major bug like this that makes him unplayable in arenas slips under the radar.

Literally cannot buy more than one drone with Crypto in arena due to this bug or they just get destroyed before they're even used.

@Snikumi I can also say I ran across this today I maxed out his tactical drone and used it 1 time and had no more.

Yeah likewise, I buy three drones, throw one out, and once its destroyed I have 0 left.

It's incredibly annoying to be limited to a single drone especially when Crypto's entire kit revolves around the drone. It has been hell playing with this bug.

I've tweeted at Respawn and a couple staff once or twice but no response sadly.

Hope this gets noticed and fixed asap.

Know for most its not a bother but as a dedicated Crypto one trick its kinda hell during this event...
