Crashing on Startup when friends play jedi fallen order

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Little to no impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? Crash the game on launch.
What should be happening instead? No crash.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Be a friend playing on double byte language origin.

Sorry for my bad English.

But this problem is critical on Double byte Character region.

When friends playing on other Origin games with Double Byte Character version origin. (e.g. Japanese,Cyrillic)

So when shows on friends list like "STAR WARS ジェダイ：フォールンオーダー" it must be crash on before title screen at launch the apex legends.

But delete the friends playing that, It can be play Apex Legends.

So please fix this problem EA or Respawn Please.

I had exactly the same issue, tried everything I could, search everywhere.

After spending last night trying to figure out the issue I found a post stating that if you had any friend in origin who's playing the new star wars game - in Russian language - apex legends would crash. In my case i couldn't open the game if he was playing but when he was off i played without problem.

Unfriending him was the solution, now the game opens up normally. I hope this gets a fix because he was my regular squad mate in apex and I want to add him again when this is fixed (hopefully asap).

Fixed it by my friend going "invisible", instantly started loading up properly, not even a client restart needed. Honestly didn't imagine such things were possible with computers. 

And now I can't even get this bug reported, no way to report by email, and it's quite a fringe issue or it would have had more fame on reddit.

Hiding friends stats from Origin is a good workaround.
