What happens when the bug occurs? In 3 matches tonight 2 with lifeline and 1 with Bloodhound I went to use ultimate accelerant and at some time during the process the game would freeze and then crash with the message. Twice when I was in runoff and once in wetlands. 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
What should be happening instead? I should get more charge on my ultimate.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Land anywhere, grab ultimate accelerant and try to use it.
I have crashed several times since I have started playing Apex, usually with the device hung error. Tonight was the first time a pattern evolved that was just, walking into a building with too many textures.
The only thing in common between all 3 crashes was, I was attempting to use Ultimate Accelerant at the time of crash.

This is an design_time issue that should be investigated and fixed."

It looks like you could upgrade to Windows 10 build 1809. Search "Windows Updates" in the desktop search bar to check for pending updates.
It also looks like your last driver update for your video card is back in 2018. Can you try updating that from AMD's website?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Equip the caustic clown skin and play the game.
I purchased the Caustic clown skin for Halloween. Now when I attempt to select or even pre-view caustic in the legend select screen at the start of a match, when the skin is equipped, the game does a full crash. Error code 0x887A0006.
I googled the code and ran the registry fix for it, which worked for 1 game and now it is crashing every time again. I also restarted, repaired, updated and re-installed the game (testing each time) and no fix.

Hi. I'm having 0x887A0006 bug. Sometimes no crash like 30 min. But sometimes it crash at the legend choose screen. I'm playing Apex like 8 months and I was able to play. Until 2 weeks ago. I did my research.
Tried everything and nothing fix my problem. Tried reg file thing. Tried reinstalling Graphic driver, Apex Legends and Windows itself. Tried to contact EA and I speak with them. Three times. They couldn't solve my problem. Tried updating my BIOS. Tried changing BIOS settings (XMP on and off) and default BIOS. I don't know what else I can do. Please help..
