Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use the Simple Living lot trait, then try cooking or baking anything on a stove or grill or anywhere you can make food.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game will stall, lag, and freeze several times throughout the time it takes to make the thing, then resume, only to do it over and over again until the thing is done being made. It will also stall when pausing the game, leading to making several attempts to pause before it actually pauses. The clock time will also freeze and jump forward and back by several minutes after it unfreezes.
What do you expect to see? Cooking working smoothly without any of this timey wimey nonsense.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This has been messed up for quite a while now, I don't remember exactly when it started, but it's getting increasingly annoying as it interferes with everything I'm trying to do in my four sim family house when I want one of them to cook something, or even do any canning. There's also lag when clicking on the stove or fridge.
