Chillville portable cooler not appearing when placing in world

Whenever I place the cooler in the world myself by clicking and dragging it from my sim's inventory it appears for a second then disappears. I then cannot interact with it. If I leave the lot or use travel to leave then return to the lot where I placed the cooler it is then visiable and I'm then able to interact with it.
