I just got off with EA support as well. Two weeks now stuck at level 2. I was also told to go to Freeplay and start a mission, which obviously isn't an option because I can't access my javelin. The "specialist" the support person was consulting as told me i needed to factory reset my XBox and reinstall everything, despite having told them multiple times that I have tried on 3 different XBox One's and the problem follows my account. My issue is now being escalated. I don't have a lot of hope and Microsoft says they will not refund my purchase as I have to wait for EA and BioWare to resolve the issue. I'm trying to stay calm, but I'm beyond frustrated now. They have 0 knowledge of this being a known issue. For those that haven't opened a request and are only posting about the issue here, I would suggest opening a ticket with EA support. I'm not sure how else we get them to listen to us.

@gvldavis I cannot read our issue! Is the "account-related inability to unlock some javelins" being mentioned in this patch notes??
However it should be rolled out today. I have until the 13th to decide if renew my subscription. If I get my colossus after this patch I will renew, otherwise I won't I guess! :D TD2 is coming out next week anyways... xD
When this game drops to 20/30 euro on instantgaming I'm going to buy it maybe. IF they fix this issue...we will see...

Thankfully I am a PC user and was able to get a refund but at this point I wonder if a lawsuit can be put against EA for this. False advertisment or something. Saying they are releasing a full game when obviously this is not a full game. Long loading times, fine, a disconnect bug, fine, not being able to launch missions without jumping through hoops, not ok, not being able to play past a tutorial, not ok.

Again I got a refund, I hope you other guys who have it on PC have done the same. Xbox and PS4 guys maybe you all should start looking into legal action.

Looks like the no forge issue might be fixed in the patch. Which for some hopefully all of those who can't get their first javelin it might fix it

Just read through all the notes, not seeing anything about a fix for the javelin bug. So that’s no beuno.

@Bejer1111 ah I wasn’t really assuming that was the javelin fix, I can access the forge just fine, just missing the token for the unlock etc.

For me I have never seen the forge in the full game so I don't know if I have a token or not. I know some of the others made it into the forge then it glitched, and they haven't been able to get back in. Do you not have the token for your first javelin? If you didn't get your first token have you tried creating another pilot, and trying again? If that doesn't work try contacting support they might be able to help with your problem. If contacting support use the missing content not bug report if you do that you can actually talk to someone.
