Cannot interact with other player sims in social event

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. SimA starts writing hobby practice, where the desk is in the same room as the kitchen counters 2. SimB invites other player’s SimC for a date hangout 3. SimB performs some event activity with SimC using the kitchen counter 4. Switch to SimA and do hobby activities until SimC has a hobby activity available 5. SimA performs activity with SimC 6. SimA continues performing other hobby activities 7. SimB tries to interact with SimA, but can’t because “SimX is done with ObjectY” where the Sim and Object seem to be random and not necessarily the kitchen counter, and SimX is random and not necessarily SimA-C
What do you expect to see? Either A. Cannot do event activities with another sim if that sim is already engaged in an activity B. If an event activity is allowed to start with a sim, clear any locks on objects that sim has

Workaround: if SimC becomes incapable of interaction with the message “SimX is done with ObjectY”, force-quit the app and relaunch

While I most frequently see this bug with writing hobby and date, and my writing desk is in my kitchen, I have seen this bug happen with other events at all locations in my house.

@chadeberle This looks straight out of a 10th Grade math problem 😂.
Can you please provide a screenshot or a video recording of the same? It will help a lot to understand your problem better

@chadeberle Are all these interactions performed by you clicking on action bubbles or are there some autonomous interactions between Sims A, B and C.
If you get an error message, could you please share a screenshot?
Video would be also useful as it can help the team understand better this issue.
