Can't use reverse retro jerseys when creating a custom team

Ever since the reverse retro jerseys were added to the game I've been unable to use them in my custom teams. I've merged by rosters with the online ones, can that be why? Do I need to use "clean" rosters and scrap my customizations?

I have found out that this isn't a bug. Since these jerseys were added after the game released, they won't be able to be used on custom teams. Those can only use the jerseys the game shipped with.

No still the same 89 jerseys that have been in the game since launch. I even tried uninstalling the game an downloading it again but the issue persists.

I downloaded the latest roster. Do I have to download the jerseys separately somewhere in order to use them when creating a custom team?

The jerseys are included with the roster update. Did you just download it now?

No I've had this latest roster since December 17th when it was released. In all that time I haven't been able to use the reverse retro jerseys for my custom teams that I use in my franchises, just the same standard 89 jerseys we got when the game launched a few months back.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but they did not add the reverse retro jerseys or templates to create a team. So if you are trying to use them for that, it's not available.

What? No that can't possibly be it. All the other jerseys the teams are using this year are available, it would be very weird if they were to take these ones out specifically.

The logos that the reverse retros use are available, like the Whalers or the Nordiques. It would very weird for them to deliberately keep the logos but remove the jerseys.

Those old logos weren't actually added with the reverse retro jerseys. They have actually been available to use for a create a team for a couple years.
