Can't start Home Research Hunt in the Festival of Lights Treasure Hunt.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I am unable to start the Home Research Hunt in the Festival of Lights Treasure Hunt. Despite the new Hunt just being available to me - and no Sims being engaged in Treasure Hunt activities - the treasure map shows both the Home Research Hunt and Expedition: Downtown being 'ready to collect'. If I try to 'Go There' (i.e. home) to start the quest, it will only take me back to the treasure map. I am stuck in a vicious cycle!
What do you expect to see? A Home Research Hunt that is able to be started from the treasure map or home.

@zumsaw If leaving your sims idle and restarting the app doesn’t work, check your retired/passive sims:
Open the family portrait/generations tab, click the sim and exit the family portrait. Restart the app and see if it helped.
