How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EP: All except for cottage living, snowy escape and discover university. GP: All except for dream home decorator, starwars and realm of magic. SP: All except for moschino.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Selecting the knit option anywhere where your sims is; sittingandstanding , also when sitting on the rocking chair or toilet. Also resuming doesn't work at all. Only frogging the project. The money you pay for knitting gets paid.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happends. The action automatically gets deleted from the action queue but the money you pay gets paid. So it costs my sim money for nothing.
What do you expect to see? I expect them to be knitting.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I downloaded nifty knitting.

I can't knit whatshowever anywhere and it is very frustrating because I myself am creative and want to do more than woodwork and painting. 

I use CC but also tried it without CC and still no results.

I repaired my game twice, one time before last update and the other time after the last update. 

I got the nifty knitting a few weeks ago but I never could knit anything but the money still gets paid. 

Can't resume projects but only frog them.

I googled and googled and tried every solution I find, for example selecting knitting while sitting on a two-persons bed, toilet, rocking chair and nothing works.

I also downloaded the whole sims including all packs again for sort of a reset.

I tried calling to EA but the choices in the standard menu don't relate to my problem.

Nothing seems to be working. 

Please help me!!!

Gave a short test in my save to see if the issue is back but it still works fine for me.

Have you ever tried renaming the user folder yet ?

No. I didn't know that was possible. I will try it as soon as possible. Thankyou and hopefully it works!

Here's instructions: 

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
