Can't get past first mission in Anthem.

I'm on the XboxOne and I cant get passed choose voice either. I'm trying over and over again and I'm having no luck, I really would like to play this game I got the legion of dawn edition and I feel like I wasted my money.

Having similar issues on playstation 4 pro, wont allow me to choose voice and when it does I cant even take three steps before my character gets pulled back to where I started. Cant even get through the tutorial mission

Same problem here, on xbox one and cannot select between male and female voice at the start so cannot progress with the tutorial. Is there any fixes known for this, or is it being looked at?

i got stuck too and a google search took me here, after 30 mins of trying i realized you have to hold the button instead of just one press. ie for pc u hold 1 or 2 to select voice. /facepalm

I have tried everything I can think of to get past this.  press and hold multiple times.  I can't get past it at all.

I just installed 1.04 on PC and same issue!!!!

WILL I EVER GET TO PLAY THIS GAME!!!

Do you know if you guys are looking into this issue?  I still can't even play this game due to not be able to pick the voice.  I have tried everything.

I figured it out on the PC.  I had to have a mic hooked up.  I didn't have one on my system and had it turned off.  I plugged one in and turned it on in windows.

I was now able to select the voice.  Very odd.  Hope this helps someone else.
