Everything started working for me today as well. Didn't do anything special......just when I tried to change my appearance after a mission, everything saved just fine. Now I can fully enjoy this game so long as I don't run across another pointless bug.

I've been having the same problems since I got it, but I decided to try uninstalling and reinstalling and, by George, it works!! I recommend this to all. I have an XBox 1S so, this is the only system I can speak for. Let me know if it helps. Peace.

Was having the same issue I got a fix yesterday afternoon about 4 pm central time everything is working as intended now for me

Its now June and I'm still having this issue (on xbox one x)

What gives.......I waited months to give time for fixes, hopped in this past weekend with the hopes of the game being in a better state and the first thing I came across was this issue I encountered back in Feb.  The sheer disappointment I felt hopping in several months later just to be in the same broken state it was when I left....unacceptable.  Customization is a HUGE part of this game...and needs to be fixed.  Somehow, my hopes for this game are hanging on by a thread....but that thread is starting to wear thin.

Same here and i'm on ps4 only stated playing it yesterday first time using customisation and it gave me a different colour to the one i picked tried deleting it but just same thing ever time i tried,so now i just have a crappy default.
