Javelin colors won't save

I can put the legion of dawn armor on and change weapons.  just colors materials and vinyls won't stay out of the forge for me.

SO it seems as this is out of our hands. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, deleted save data, created a new pilot, all to no avail. Yes you can equip different armor. But There is NO WAY to make Material, Paint, and Vinyls to work if you have this bug. EA is going to have to get active on this or there will be more and more dissapointed players who long for customization. Please if somebody finds out how to fix this please reply to me with the @.

Every time I attempt to change color or equip vinyl I get a “Connection Problem, Unknown error.”

I am having the same problem on ps4.  I cannot customize at all. It doesnt save. I am missing materials to customize as well. I cant change the wear look on my javelin.  It is stuck on old. No option to select. Frustrated because I want to customize my guy and I can't do it.
