Can no longer ping on the map after doing a button remapping [ Edited ]

I'm sorry, but we don't have any updates to share on this issue. We've escalated the reports up for review so the team can track the issue, but we don't have any further details.

Also can’t ping the map or loot in deathboxes with my custom setup putting ping on X (ps4). I don’t understand why they can’t just have deathbox ping as r1 like the inventory. It’s really pissing me off as I currently have my optimal control layout that is hindered by stupid ping limitations that could have been fixed MONTHS ago.

This is happening on all platform since the first season, when i set another custom button to the controller for fire or use habilities, i cannot pin zones on the big map (back button), but i can pin buildings and zones correctly

Same problem still here, playing on PS4 and with customized controls. Can't ping in the map, altough can ping in the game.

Same, can't believe it's still not fixed. Weirdest part is, I can still ping (request) items in inventory, and ping items in death boxes with the default ping (R1 on PS4).... but this doesn't work on the map for whatever reason.... nor does my remapped ping (R3). If it matters, below are my remapped buttons:

Crouch=L1

Jump=R1

Tactical=L3

Ping=R3

Sprint=X

Melee=O

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This started happening when I switch my controls to: Interact/Reload - R1 Ping system - Square

My Interact/Reload system is now in R1 and that was the moment that pinging the full map stopped working. I can ping the areas and things like deadbox, survey-beakon, guns, everything. Except the map that shows the full places with the places name written
