Same. They didn't solve anything and the first time the error appeared it was like 3 or 4 weeks ago

I have Sims 4 for Mac with the the Cats & Dogs and the Get to Work Expansions, plus the Outdoor Retreats and Tiny Living packs. I was sending a sim to work at the science lab and the game took me back to the Choose World screen with the attached error message displayed. Every subsequent effort to load that exact sim, sims from the same household or a different household entirely has resulted in the same error message, even after twice repairing the game and also updating and restarting my Mac. 

It's worth noting that, when I first got the error message, I recklessly saved my game as I didn't want to lose progress. I did tried loading an old game and that works fine, so the error seems to be with that file, not the game itself. However, I have created so many generations of families since the previous save, as well as houses and commercial lots, so I really hope there's a way to get my latest saved game back!

It's just about been an entire month of an unplayable game for me. I'm about to just give up on the company fully. What stinks is we are just one drop in their bucket and they could care less if we leave.

Typical EA response...passing the buck and saying "here's a link where other people are complaining about the same thing, go figure it out yourselves".
