@chantelwaggxx Yes, the gallery for me is also acting up. Lots of big red X's where the images should be. Same goes for the pack previews when I try to look at the CAS and Build Mode stuff in each pack. Big red X's everywhere. It's definitely not my Internet, as I've troubleshooted this multiple times and confirmed that my connection is good.

@EvilVampyre we've tried it all. They've given us the runaround. There's nothing left to do but wait. My Sims are gonna get dusty by the time there's a fix.

What upsets me most about this situation is not the waiting, it's the lack of transparency and communication from EA. They're very upfront and public about fixing issues with their sports games. That's painfully clear from their Twitter feed. For any other games, most notably Sims, there's complete silence. We finally get semi-acknowledgment of the issue only after harassing them on social media or messaging the helpline.

@tron20X6 Yea and the forum has to inform everyone not to delete their save files. Instead of making a public statement.... it’s like they are being super stubborn. It’s ridiculous!

@Haqutta Yea a huge sale would be nice even though I think they should give us a pack for free. At this point I’m really reluctant to spend my money on them because they don’t care about us as customers at all...

At this point im not even expecting a new update,just want compensation. Its been a month without any news, no progress only "we are aware of the issue". Should we wait 3 months? please comensate the players if you dont have the time to check the issue. They said that they are not in the office right now right? If so how come they had time to release ECO life and llamas? How come they have time for new updates on battlefield and FIFA? I honestly don't understand.

@ikkimikki At this point I legit think EA doesn’t care about their sims customers. They just give the same excuse every time. They have been promoting other games, had updates on multiple different games AND announced those on Twitter. But they won’t even put a lousy tweet about the sims problems. Even just to acknowledge it and tell people not to delete their saves.

I can’t exactly remember where in the thread I read it but someone proposed a solution.

you can try:

- go on the Sims main menu

- click on « load »

- click on the family you would like to play with

- click on the disc icon

- choose which saves you would like to recover

- click again on the disc icon

If it still doesn’t load, try an older save until you find one which works... It worked for me but sometimes the problem occurs again. Just need to do it again...

@Miacoconut I tried this, worked for like 2 sims days and then I got the error again... it’s like the household save is corrupted
