Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.70.84.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except paranormal.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When using the Snowy Escape pack, attempt to repair broken climbing gear after an initial attempt has already been made to repair the gear.
What happens when the bug occurs? The prompt is "[Name] needs to wait awhile before he/she can do this again!"
What do you expect to see? The word "awhile" should instead be "a while" to be grammatically correct. The prompt should instead say "[Name] needs to wait a while before he/she can do this again!"
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
The use of "awhile" is appropriate when not following a preposition, for instance "awhile ago" or "awhile back". When following a preposition, for instance, "You need to wait for a while" the term should be two words, "a while", instead of the singular word "awhile". Therefore, "[Name] needs to wait awhile before [he/she] can do this again!" is grammatically incorrect and instead should be "[Name] needs to wait a while before [he/she] can do this again!" The tea maker's upgrade description says coffee instead of tea.
The microwave upgrade has the wrong description for the upgrade. The description is for self-cleaning which is missing a real description.
I created a separate thread about this but the recycler upgrades tooltips are missing a description of what they do:
