Chat window with Grim Reaper does not close

I have the same problem, only it's usually with the sims.

I'm having this exact same issue. Except with mine it was a neighbor that showed up at my house. The neighbor began an offensive conversation with my sim then left my lot when it got late. Its sim days later & the offensive conversation thing is still showing at the top of my screen like she's still on the lot. I am running Windows 7. I've tried doing everything I can think of including resetting my sims. Nothing is working.

Did you try if traveling to another lot gets rid of it ?

I deleted the shower and exited the game after replacing the shower didn't work.  When I came back to the game the next day, the animation was gone.  So deletion and restarting or going to main menu and restarting may be the key for now.

so my two sims had a conversation and the it ended but it still had the tab at the top saying like casual disscusion and the other sims feeling! they have even gone to work and gone in different rooms and it stayed the same?!?!!? please help as it wont go away

I had a Sim that casually spoke to his daughter at dinnertime, and after the conversation was over..the conversation box stuck at the top of the screen for a couple days.  I just sent him to another lot per your suggestion, and it disappeared!  Sent him right back home...its gone now.

Just wanted to report this fix worked.

Yesterday I started having this issue much more than 1 time here and there.. It was throughout my playtime..

I have a

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4930K CPU @ 3.40GHz

AMD Radeon(TM) R9 270

RAM 16GB

The disussion bubble at the top is stuck and that person is not in my household
