Please post all objects that cause your Sim to have a routing fail in here.

Describe what you tried to do and if it's reproducible.

There's a lot of old stuff in here so please re-report if you still have issues. I'm only adding newer thing

If you have a setup of three counters, one with a sink, one empty, and one with a coffee machine, sometimes sims will have an issue with routing and refuse to prepare a meal.

Origin Digital Deluxe,
No Mods, 
No CC, 
Windows 7 Ultimate x64, 
Intel i5 2500k, 
nVidia GTX 780.

vanilla install on win 7/64 origin dl

Place violin against wall in family room of daisy hovel, exterior wall of yard where largest grassy area is. Original build has been modified by dragging wall 2 squares larger in family room and bedroom. Violin is originall 'square' against wall eg, longest side against wall, facing out to room.

Play violin. 

Sim picks up violin and plays it. Places it back down now perpendicular to wall facing bedroom, walks away.

Next time to play, click on it to practice. SIm walks to violin, and bends to pick it up, then circles violin through exterior wall of house, steps down off foundation in to yard, steps back up from yard through wall on to foundation into family room behind violin and picks it up. Plays. Sets it down when done, this time at about 45 degree angle toward wall.

I can care less about the way the sim picks it up and puts it back down, ultimately, but it seems that it if it is going to circle the violin counterclockwise to pick it up or some such... I don't know why it's disrespecting the wall as a 'wall' or the foundation as a 'height' (and just seeing it as a 'floor'). 

Definitely seemed strange.

My Sim cooked two meals with no problem.  Now when she goes to cook, she puts the ingredients down on the counter and then acts like something is in her way and she will not continue preparing the meal.  She can clean up the ingredients no problem, but she will not cook them.  Any ideas?

How many counters do you have free when this occurs? I've noticed a similar issue when there is only one free counter.

I'm experiencing the "Sims play musical chairs a lot" routing issue.

The thing that sticks out the most is that, when playing chess, if the sim goes from one chess interaction to another (example: 'clean' to 'play') they switch chairs needlessly (unless there is another sim in the other chair).

I don't know if it is a bug per say, and I have seen this in the lets plays done by the gurus, but this is highly annoying. When your Sims are having a conversation, they will continuiously change seating.
