Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.75.125.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey to Batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have an adult/elder spayed cat with the free spirit trait.
What happens when the bug occurs? When my spayed cat (usually elder but it also happens with adults) with the free spirit trait returns to the lot, she comes back pregnant.
What do you expect to see? If my cat is spayed, she should not be getting pregnant.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
I know that this was previously addressed several patches ago but the issue is ongoing. In fact, for me at least, the only change that I've seen post patch is that now it's not just my Elder (spayed) cats who are coming home pregnant, but now the Adults. I do use an obscene amount of mods and cc but they don't seem to be the cause of the problem. The problem started during a point when I was not downloading new mods/cc and what I did have installed was not interfering with the pets in any way. I have no mods exclusive to pets and the cc I do have for them was all downloaded before the issue began and had no impact in the game other than what it was supposed to have.
This is the third cat I've had return pregnant when spayed. The first time, it was an Elder cat who came home pregnant with twins on two separate occasions. The second time was one of the offspring of the first cat. She came home pregnant 3 times as an Elder. And now, this adult racoon (completely unrelated to the others) is coming home pregnant. I'm sure the frequency of this would be higher but not all of the cats I've had have had the Free Spirit trait and it's an issue that seems to be exclusive to that trait. I get my cats spayed specifically because I don't want surprise kittens so I would very much like this fixed.

I'm glad someone else is having this problem because this is driving me nuts! Free spirit or not spayed cats shouldn't be coming home and surprising me with kittens I don't want...

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? Ver. 1.79.93.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, University, Island Living, Seasons, Cats & Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Dream Home, Realm of Magic, Jungle Adventure, Vampires, Parenthood, Spa Day, Knitting, Ting Living, Moschino, Laundry, Perfect Patio
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a fixed animal on the lot, female preferred. Given time, they will enter 'heat'. If the animal has a trait where they go off and then come back, there is a chance they will come back pregnant. Also, Impecable Plaster white paint is the same as the light brown, where the corresponding Stony Brook color is indeed white (base game wall colors found in paint and stone)
What happens when the bug occurs? Neutered pets have babies
What do you expect to see? Fixed pets should not be able to have babies Hopefully, a plain white swatch with no stone edging.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I'm not sure if I have this bug too and don't know when it occurs, because I don't play often with cats. But currently I have a household with one cat and she was pregnant for three times in a few weeks. This seemed to me very often comparing to the other cats I had in the past.

See, that testing with a fresh game is not practical. You have to play a while before you see this behavior, and if someone uses an insane amount of mods, to play the game without them is pointless for the purpose of trouble-shooting. Might as well blame the mod, which does the same as tech supports all around the world ... point fingers elsewhere and always suspect mods as the #1 source of the problem.
Anyway, I'm having the same problem, but my female dog who wasn't spayed got pregnant by a male dog who was neutered. I haven't had mods since last summer, I neutered the male a few weeks ago, and caught them doing the mating dance outside the back door of the Sims's house. So chalk one up for someone who isn't using mods at all and get EA on it!

My CAS-spayed cat just went into heat. This used to be an issue, perhaps the problem is back?
