CAS not working properly

I can't seem to edit/modify my sims body's. I can select the faces and other things in the panel, but outside of that, I can't make there eyes bigger, face skinnier, or body wider by using the "drag-and-hold" method with my mouse. Do you have any suggestions?

Could you try describe what happens if you try ? Does the cursor turn into a camera icon ?
