How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Im not really sure. Entering my game?
What do you expect to see? The sim in his appropriate stage. As a Non playable retired character

Additional feedback I was not able to screenshot when he took the playable characters place or him turning into an elder. But i do have a screenshot of his wife who is a NPC and automatically aged as he did. She is still an elder, and he isnt.
My sim who i retired this morning seems to have reversed in age. He 1st took the place of my playable character. When this happened i exited and re-entered the game. When i re-entered he wasnt playable anymore. But he appears to be an adult again. I clicked on the family photo to be sure and it even says he is an adult again.
Im concerned that this glitch may mess up other things in my game. Im scared he may not ever move out, and be stuck in the house forever or he may take over or erase my actual playable characters. Help!
Edit:
This post is for issues with:
- Retired Sims ageing back and getting stuck
- Sims children that won't age up and are stuck
- Sims getting stuck in one spot
- Retired Sims getting stuck

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When you click on the family portrait, there is no option to move out under my retired sim's name.

Additional feedback
I have had this issue for some time now. My sim retired a few months ago with no option to move her out via the family portrait. Has anyone else encountered this issue before??? Even after this recent update, my current playable sims can still start relationship events with her. Without interacting with her though, she just stands in my house in one spot and doesn't use any of the household objects.

I need a few more reports for that. Is your game fully updated? This is an issue that should've been solved in the past.
If your game is fully updated, I suggest contacting EA about this issue.
You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. Open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the button with 'Help'.
This will open your browser, scroll down until you see 'Contact Us' and choose 'Technical Support'.
Open the spoiler for pictures:
If this fails for some reason, or you can't access The Sims Mobile app.
You can contact EA through this link: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
If you want to do so in a different language you can choose your country of choice in the upper right-hand corner.
You can also choose to contact an EA game advisor through social media:

@Phantomlover1717I updated it since the most recent update (Version 11.0.1) was announced... The update only helped a different sim's problem where the move out option was greyed out, but this sim has no move out option whatsoever. I think back when I retired her, I retired her before she claimed her fourth trait and that might be why the move out option isn't there - not 100% sure. It said choose another trait next to her existing traits, but I accidentally retired her before I picked it. It was a few months ago so I don't remember exactly. I contacted EA via email three times. Each time, the tech support helper told me to post here in the forums. Since no one else seems to be having the same issue, it's much harder to get noticed.

You've been noticed, I can't add it to the bug list yet, I need a bit more reports for that.
I'm sad to hear EA wasn't able to help you 3 times....

@Phantomlover1717I know it's been a LONG time since this was posted, but have you found any others with the same issue? I haven't been active on here for months. Tbh, it still hasn't been resolved even after I spoke with an EA tech expert. They said someone was going to fix it back in early June, but my elder sim is still stuck in my house with no option to move her out. Do you know of anyone on the website who I may message for this issue?

No haven't seen any. Only this one:
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Open-Retired-sim-is-on-my-current-generation-page/td-p/7048059
Which is a Sim that was moved out but isn't places in a generation.

Additional feedback I’ve been waiting for this kid to age up for days, and have since had another toddler age and grow ahead of this child, into an adult. I also can’t click on him to talk to him, or change his outfit, he’s completely unplayable.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I’ve turned my iPad off and turned it back on, I’ve tried everything, nothing worked,

How many days has it been? Is the child still showing in the family portrait?
