Blocky objects in laptop mode

[ Edited ]
★★★★★ Apprentice

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Suomi
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansion packs, all game packs except Dine Out, stuff packs Spooky, Cool Kitchen, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden and Backyard
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Turn the laptop mode on and examine the shape of objects on close.
What happens when the bug occurs? While laptop mode is on, many objects appear exceptionally blocky. From what I have seen, this mostly affects plants and furniture with fine decorative elements, but I have also seen this phenomenon in the off-lot scenery.
What do you expect to see? Non-blocky objects as they used to be.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Cats & Dogs pre-patch (November)

I'm aware that my computer is not in the best shape, and that's why I usually use the laptop mode. However, none of the objects seemed as blocky as they do now after the Cats & Dogs pre-patch. Turning off the laptop mode does solve the issue, but I'd prefer playing while it's on. Repairing the game via Origin, deleting cache files or starting a new save game doesn't help.

My computer has graphic card ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470.
