Black Screen when starting an offline game. (in-game)

Platform: Xbox s

Mode: Play now

I played a game, I did random teams, and I also noticed Toronto's logo was not on the jersey, then I played and it instantly went into a black screen. No settings were changed. Instant replay did not work, and rematch didn't either. when I got out of the game, I went back into play now, and the team selection area was okay, but the players and background were black screen. I had to restart the game to play again

Happening to me on PS5 in all offline modes. Any update? It’s been months.

It’s happening to me as well on PlayStation 5 when playing Squad Battles.

Same problem, all the indicators and scoreboard are there as well as the graphics when a replay is started after a stoppage, but the gamplay area is all back except for player indicators.

same also, 3 games since yesterday started black, you cant start a game after, they are all black, need to close game and restart

This is a game issue 100%. its been happening to me regularly. I play a game or two fine, then i get this black out game where i can only see the player indicators. I quit, taking a loss, fully close the game, restart the game and try to play again. Sometimes it fixes the issue sometimes it doesn't. Overall though, this is 100% a game issue, not counsel, HDMI, TV, etc. issue.

I'm having the same issue with HUT when the teams lead the screen goes black and you can just see positions and the team names

Hey, everyone. This is an issue we're currently investigating. It's also possible this happens when spamming the A/X button before loading into the game.
